Almost everyone that's ever lost weight admits to some form of physical activity and how the weight came off once they incorporated it in their regular routine.
Last week I challenged myself to physical activity every work day from Tuesday through Friday. In doing so I was able to accomplish walking 15 miles at a brisk pace. I felt quite accomplished and surprisingly more energetic than I imagined. It made for a great and productive work day.
I've exercised routinely in the past and unfortunately the scale has never moved. I have seen change in inches, but again the scale NEVER EVER EVER moved - that was INCREDIBLY frustrating. Having experienced this in the past, I typically quit the exercise routine since it didn't seem to help. In fairness to the previous attempts I was not always following a routine eating plan.
However I say all of this to say - get up and move! When it is all said and done (and it's been both said and done a thousand times) find something you like and do it - if for nothing else it earns you more food....if that's appealing to you. I can't stress it enough - do it, do it regularly and it begins to feel natural. Finally, do it with purpose.
Won't beat this point too much because again it has all been said before. Find an activity and start enjoying yourself while doing it.
My personal favorites - walking as of late and ZUMBA (both dvd and for Wii Fit) since my first class at the gym. Open to finding more options which incorporate toning and strengthening.
Morale - get up and MOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
