Womp Womp Womp

follow up from yesterday's push through post. I wound up caving around 730 - 8p. I tried to find the lowest carb non meat item I had access to - it wound up being slated cashews. Not quite raw, but not terrible. An hour later I ate an Atkins lasagna (from the freezer section).

You know what I learned ? That I didnt fail I successfully went one full day on juice and perhaps I was a bit too ambitious and should plan out my cleanse more thoughtfully. That said it also reminded me that every time I've caved and ordered out with a freezer full of low carb, high fat options I was choosing to fail and sabotaging myself aka being lazy. If this will be a lifestyle I have to be ok embracing it even when I don't want to. As much as I hate cooking and freezing food bc i loathe freezer burned food, its worthwhile having what you need on hand on the days when your hands aren't worthwhile to  cook. Coincidentally I have joined more KETO Facebook groups and my timeline was flooded with everything from keto bagels, to bread to biscuits all the stuff I love . I know I've had this novel idea in the past, buuuut why am I not trying to recreate dishes I love and stick with those rather than coming off plan entirely and crying about it. It has to be easier to tweak the plan if I'm consuming too much almond and coconut flour than it is to go rogue and cry about weight gain.

So I am drinking "CLEAN" - kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, lemon. It's not exciting but it's yucky enough to convince me that it's doing something and that it's good for me. It says immune boosting, stress reducing and detoxing I can use all of those things. Im much too lazy to go back to juicing on my own - it was time consuming and the juicer took up much too much space on my counter. Dropping in to the juice bar every few days to buy what I want/need seems reasonable - though can be argued counterproductive.

I dont plan to stay on juice for much longer as I'm worry about the carbs, but since I paid for the 2 day cleanse I will drink these until they are done and transition into protein shakes - slim fast style & intermittent fasting. Around noon have a shake - might pullout my bullet here in the office and make a 16 ozer and a sensible dinner .. will see how that takes me.

Planning is key - and getting in physical exercise as well.. All brand new concepts, right?
